About Dr. Gregory L. Mauldin

Dr. Mauldin was born in Atlanta and grew up in Lawrenceville. After attending Berkmar High School, he graduated from the University of Georgia with B.S. in Biology. He then graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and did an Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He stayed at the University of Tennessee to complete a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship and was appointed Chief Fellow his final year.

He returned to Gwinnett County in 1993 and founded Georgia Pulmonary Group. Dr. Mauldin has served many roles in the medical community including Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Chief of Staff, and Medical Director of the Sleep Labs at Eastside Medical Center and Gwinnett Medical Center. He is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Eastside Medical Center.

His interests include asthma, COPD, critical care, and sleep medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. When he is not seeing patients he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, refurbishing classic cars, and supporting his Georgia Bulldogs.
